COOYAL
GROVE
In
late 2002, Cooyal Grove was purchased from its Italian founder by
Queensland businessman John Lenard and Paul and Lydele Walker, a
local Mudgee vigneron and his wife. Located
in the Great Dividing Range, to the North East of Mudgee, they grow
350 pistachio trees, 300 olive trees, 8 acres of dry land grapes
along with about 100 various fruit trees.
Being a family
run business means that all hands are on deck when it comes to pruning,
training and harvesting the various crops that the property produces.
All their packaging, bottling and labelling is done by hand which
means they take care of their products from start to finish, ensuring
absolute quality.
Their products
are available by mail or phone order, or you can visit them at the
Mudgee Farmers Markets.
