Local Plate Winner announced

Moothi winners-1Almost 900 people tasted and voted their way around Mudgee during the September Wine and Food Festival for 2014. There could only be one eating establishment crowned as the Champion Local Plate ….and that was awarded to Moothi Estate for their Mudgee Munch Plate.

The platter was a selection of Pipeclay Produce prosciutto and Casalingo salami, High Valley pesto fetta & Caerphilly, Angela’s Edibles beetroot relish, Capertee Valley saffron fig & cardamom paste,  and saffron dukkah, Rylstone Olive Press olive oil, Mudgee Sourdough Turkish bread, house-made pickles, fresh greens and crackers.
